secret surrpise birthday
Yesterday night was really fun. A success in most ways except that the cake we baked got burnt, so rachel had to climb some really steeeepp hill to go get cake from the super market. And, i wore slippers and only a sweater out for the first time, it was cold for awhile, but after making our way for about 20 min. i was almost perspiring. now you know how steep the path is. Second screw up when they barged into the door with all of us not prepared. (we were basking around dipping chips with salsa sauce and melted cheesee) So renyu, came up with some stupid reason that the place is smoky so they had to wait outside. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! alarm bell rings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i never thought it would work, but Atsushi believed... hmmmm... okok....) so peeled off the candles violently, stuck them into the cake with absolutely no sense of design, and lighted all of them in 1 minute. then the birthday boy came in.
every thing after that was great. had domino pizzas, drinks, chips, cakes! had jap music playing on the background. and after that we went to this place called escape. It was by the harbour. It was a good night, talking to people and making and forming better friendships. Its a wonder how 2 people can meet and just talk and can connect, from anywheere.. the ability of communication is one of the best tool that God created.
